Hey, guys! Today I’m going to be sharing swatches from the 2016 ‘Summer Is Coming’ Collection by Nailed It! Nail Polish. This post is long past-due, so let’s jump right in, shall we?
From left to right we have: H20cean, Bronzed Babe, Morning Maitai, Vitamin Sea Breeze, and Beach Bikini. I loved the range of colors in this collection! There is a shade here for everyone. Below I have two swatches for each polish; one is taken inside a lightbox and the other is taken outdoors in direct sunlight.
First up is “H2Ocean”, a deep shimmery blue with pink and turquoise flecks. The flecks are pretty sparse and nigh impossible to capture on camera but in person they give a nice and subtle flash of color. This is three coats without top coat, as the formula is a little sheer.
This is “Bronzed Babe”, shown here in two coats, though you could definitely get away with just one. This one was one of my favorites! The formula was a little thick but it wasn’t too difficult to manipulate the polish and get a nice, clean finish.
This is “Morning Maitai”, a peachy-orange with a gold shimmer. The formula was similar to “H20cean” and I had to do three coats for full opacity. I loved how bright and shimmery this one was!
This is “Vitamin Sea”, an aqua blue with turquoise flecks and another favorite of mine! This is two coats without top coat.
Last but not least is “Beach Bikini”, a pretty pink polish with pretty pink sparkles. This is three coats without top coat. For someone who doesn’t wear pink very much at all, I paired this mani with a pink tank top and went on a little shopping trip. It did…something to me. I think it was the sparkles.
That’s all of them, folks! I hope you found this post informative and if you want to shop Nailed It! Nail Polish and own any of these pretties, you can do so here. Right now you can get the whole collection for just $30 (down from $40) and individually they’ll cost you $6 a pop.
They also offer a flat rate shipping fee of $5.75 per order, so whether you order one polish or ten, it’s the same price.
Thanks for reading, guys! Until next time!
